" Hello, having just returned from the lake on Saturday 10th I just felt that I had to send an email as my appreciation for the trip, firstly the whole experience was excellent from picking the coach up to returning on Saturday. The lake is breathtaking upon arrival and the welcome we received was excellent, and the way both Mick and John conducted themselves was above and beyond their remit, they're a real credit to the fish, lake and the whole atmosphere and fishing experience of Cherpont, they are great ambassadors for the Company and carp fishing alike. I've been to a number of French commercial carp fisheries and Cherpont is a premier destination that is run to the highest level at all times, I would have no hesitation in recommending it. So all in all it was a memorable trip and I'm looking forward to returning very soon."

"After meeting you twice last year at Cherpont you made it clear that any feedback is very welcome. Well after many trips to the superb Cherpont with my good mates I managed at last to pursuade my wife to come along. We came down in June and although we had heat pushing 100 degrees most days the fishing was superb. I had three forty's and my wife Lesley a pb 32 pounder, now there was no holding her back. Back we came in August for another brilliant week. Can I just say thanks to John, Tiny and Mick for really looking after Les and making her feel very welcome, by the way as usual the food was great. So unless we get a lake of our own we will be back next year. By the way the fish are still packing on the pounds, I caught a common in June, 31lb, the same fish I caught in August at 36lb."

"A very big thank you to all at Cherpont for, yet again, another great weeks fishing. My husband Bob and I have fished the lake from the 1st year it opened, in all I think about 20 trips, and each return things only get better. The advert says "probably the best fishery in France" well in our eyes it is the best. We have fished amny venues over the past 8 years and Cherpont is number 1. We allready have 4 weeks booked for next year, so that just goes to show how much an impression the lake has on you. Mick & John, the bailiffs, are now good friends, they are so helpful with all anglers, nothing is too much for these two. One good thing about Cherpont is that there are no hidden extras, yes you do have to pay for your bait, but everything else is included in your price, no parking fees at Dover, travel, or toll expense, this does all add up.
The meals have improved a lot, you will allways go back to your swim full and content, it's lovely not to have the washing up! The fish are growing well, in the early days our aim was to catch 30's, now it's 50lb+'s. We have just got back from a week in August my catch was 21 fish, 3 40's (46lb, 41lb 8oz & 45lb 4oz) 7 30's to 39lb 12oz, 8 20's to 28lb and 3 doubles. Bob had 17, 2 40's (45lb 6oz & 44lb 4oz) 5 30's to 39lb 12oz, 8 20's to 28lb and 2 doubles, not bad fishing from one swim. If you are thinking about a trip,do, you will not be disappointed.
