Here at Cherpont we consider ourselves to be the friendliest fishery in France and do our very best to ensure that you have a fishing holiday of a lifetime - every time you go.

Within the price we include travel to and from the lake, 7 days fishing, a daily breakfast and evening meal, and full use of the lodge with its English toilets, shower, kitchen and dining, TV, video and its elevated patio area over looking the lake. There are also substantial discounts offered to non-fishing partners who, with the exception of the fishing, will benefit from all the above services and facilities.

If you've never been on a fishing trip of this nature, don't worry, you are our number one priority, and our friendly bailiffs are on hand to assist you 24 hours a day.

When coming to Cherpont we recommend that you take the following fishing tackle:

Carp rods with at least 2¼ lb test curve.
Reels fitted with 12lb line.
Large specimen type landing net.
Bite indicators with bank sticks or a rod pod.
Bivvy & sleeping bag.
Tackle box with end tackle.

Luggage is restricted to a rucksack (max 100 ltrs), rodbag (3 rod madeup), bivvy, sleeping bag, small carryall and 1 bucket of bait per angler (10kg). Nothing else will be allowed on the coach due to the coach company's rules.

This is your chance to fish for big carp in beautiful surroundings, in a totally relaxed atmosphere where you can just sit back, catch a few carp and enjoy yourself.

We must point out that Cherpont also welcomes ladies and children. It is not a "Beano with Carp", excessive alcohol is not encouraged, and consideration of other anglers must be observed at all times.
